The Forum on the Linkage Between Commercial Arbitration Systems in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and Internationalized Development of Arbitration Successfully Held

On November 23rd, the Forum on the Linkage Between Commercial Arbitration Systems in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and Internationalized Development of Arbitration, jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of International Law and Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration, was held in Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. The forum was co-organized by the Secretariat of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Arbitration Union (Nansha International Arbitration Center).

Mr. Zhong Yingyi, Director of the Legal Affairs Bureau of the Executive Committee of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone, delivered an opening speech at the forum. Professor Chen Guoping, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, delivered an online opening speech. Mr. Wang Ruisen, President of Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration, issued the Implementation Plan of Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration for Servicing the Construction of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, which was interpreted by Mr. Wu Xuechuan, the Vice President of the Court. Associate Research Fellow Mao Xiaofei, Deputy Head of National Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, made a keynote speech at the forum. Professor Liu Jingdong, Head of International Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, gave closing remarks at the forum.

The event was held in a combined offline and online form and attended by more than 200 persons, including persons-in-charge and representatives of 19 authoritative departments and legal professional institutions at home and abroad, experts and scholars in the relevant fields, and representatives from the industrial and commercial circles.
