The launching of the textbook New Era Legal Education Series: Commercial Law, jointly organized by CASS Institute of Law, CASS Institute of International Law and the School of Law of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was held in Beijing on April 20, 2024. The textbook is edited by Professor Chen Jie, head of the Commercial Law Department of CASS Institute of Law and head of the Commercial Law Teaching and Research Office of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and published by Contemporary China Publishing House.

At the ceremony, presided over by Professor Wu Yong, Executive Dean of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, speeches were given by Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Institute of Law, Dean of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Chief Editor of the New Era Legal Education Series, Professor Wang Xinqing, Former Vice President of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Zhao Xudong, President of the Commercial Law Research Committee of China Law Society, Professor Chen Su, member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Law, and Ms. Wang Yin, deputy editor-in-chief of Contemporary China Publishing House.

The ceremony was attended by more than 30 experts and scholars in the field of commercial law, all staff members of the Commercial Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, Mr. Liu Wenke, assistant editor-in-chief of Contemporary China Publishing House, and all staff members of the editorial department of the Rule of Law Branch of the publishing house.
