The international seminar "The Era of Digital Economy: Cross-border Trade Regulation and Online Dispute Resolution" was held at the Institute of International Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in a combined online and offline form on October 28-29, 2021. The seminar was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), organized by the Institute of International Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, with the support of China International Chamber of Commerce and the International Commercial Arbitration Council (ICCA). The seminar aimed to explore theoretical and practical issues in cross-border trade regulation and online dispute resolution in the context of the digital economy. It was attended by experts and scholars from the Ministry of Commerce, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of Justice, China International Chamber of Commerce, China Maritime Arbitration Commission, International Commercial Arbitration Council, International Chamber of Commerce, local courts, arbitration institutions, mediation institutions, research institutions, universities and enterprises.
