The ceremony of “The Spirit of the Constitution and the Power of the Rule of Law-CCTV 2021 Award Ceremony” was held in Beijing on December 4, 2021 - the 8th National Constitution Day. According to the selection results of the Annual Selection Committee for Men of the Year in the Field of the Rule of Law, Professor Li Lin, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a vice chairman of the Academic Committee of China Law Society, and a former director of CASS Law Institute, was awarded the title of “Man of the Year in the Field of the Rule of Law in 2021. In the past more than 30 years, Professor Li Lin has published more than 60 books, over 300 papers and theoretical articles, and submitted more than 160 internal research reports to various government organs. He has conducted in-depth research, publicity, and interpretation of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, and promoted the innovative development of legal theory, legal system and rule of law culture. In 2003 and 2018, Li Lin was twice invited into Zhongnanhai to give keynote speeches at the collective study sessions of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
