A five-member delegation of the Development Research Center of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, led by Mr. Zhang Xianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Center, visited CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law on June 21, 2024. During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of CASS Institute of Law, and some staff members of the two CASS institutes.

At the meeting, the hosts and the guests discussed such issues as the integration of Yunnan Province into the national unified market, the development of new quality productive forces in Yunnan Province according to local conditions, the construction of an international land-sea corridor facing the Indian Ocean, policy innovation and legal guarantee for the construction of border industrial parks, the construction of high-end think tanks, and the fields and methods of future cooperation between the two institutions.

Also attending the meeting were Professor Zhang Sheng, head of the Legal History Department of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Liu Jingdong, head of the International Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, Mr. Zhang Jingui, head of the Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Lu Chao, a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, and Associate Professor Sun Nanxiang, deputy head of the Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law.
