The 11th Sino-Finnish Bilateral Seminaron Comparative Law: "Sustainable Development and Role of Regulation" Successfully Held

The 11th Sino-Finnish Bilateral Seminar on Comparative Law, jointly sponsored by CASS Law Institute, Finnish China Law Center, and Faculty of Law of University of Helsinki, was held on October 11-12, 2021. The seminar took "Sustainable Development and Role of Regulation" as its theme and was held in a combined online and offline form. Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Law Institute, Professor Pia Letto-Vanamo, Dean of Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki, and Professor Björn Ahl, University of Cologne, Visiting Professor of University ofHelsinki and President of the European ChinaLaw Studies Association, each delivered a speech at the beginning of the seminar. The seminar was attended by more than 40 scholars from China, Finland, Sweden and Denmark, who carried outin-depth discussions on various issues around the following topics: Sustainable Development and Role of Regulation, Sustainable Business Models and their Regulation, Environment Protection, Rights and Regulatory Approaches, and Decent Work and the Protection of Platform Workers in China, Finland and EU.
