The results of the 19th China-Japan Seminar on Comparative Law published in the Journal of Comparative Law of Waseda University

The 19th China-Japan Seminar on Comparative Law, co-sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and the Institute of Comparative Law of Waseda University of Japan, was held online on September 17, 2021. At the seminar, experts and scholars from China and Japan carried out in-depth exchanges on "new technologies and law". The results of the seminar were published in the first issue of the 56th volume of the journal "Comparative Law" of the Institute of Comparative Law of Waseda University in Japan in June 2022. They include the following four articles by scholars from CASS Law Institute: "The Boundary of Criminal Law Protection of Big Data - From the Perspective of Forcibly Crawling Open Data" by Professor Liu Renwen, "Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights Reform" by Professor Yang Yanchao, "Platform and Labor – Labor Reforms in the Digital Era and Legal Responses Thereof" by associate Professor Wang Tianyu and "Challenges to China's Platform Economy Antitrust Regulation and Response Thereof" by Associate Professor Jin Shanming.
