Dr. Karman Lucero, a fellow at the Paul Tsai China Center of Yale Law School, visited CASS Institute of Law and held a meeting with Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of the Institute, on June 8, 2023.
During the meeting, the host and the guest exchanged views on strengthening and deepening the cooperation between CASS Institute of Law and the Paul Tsai China Center of Yale Law School. Professor Xie pointed out that his Institute attaches great importance to cooperation with Yale Law School and the Paul Tsai China Center. The exchanges and cooperation between the Institute and Center, including a series of joint academic seminars, in the past few years have produced fruitful results. On the basis of previous cooperation, the two entities can further increase the breadth and depth of cooperation and publish more high-quality cooperation results in the future. He suggested that the two entities consolidate the mechanism for cooperation by agreement between them and further strengthen the exchange of personnel. Dr. Lucero thanked Professor Xie for his warm reception and pointed out that the cooperation between the two entities has a solid foundation and that his center is willing to work with CASS Institute of Law to better promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the field of law.
Also attending the meeting were Professor Feng Jue, deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Law, Mr. Zhang Jingui, Head of the Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of Law, Associate Professor Zhou Hui, Deputy Head of the Cyber and Information Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, and Dr. He Jingjing, an associate research fellow at the International Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law.
