A delegation of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law attends anti-corruption forum and roundtable in Russia


At the invitation of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of Russian Federation, a delegation of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, headed by Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law, attended the "13th Eurasian International Anti-Corruption Forum", which took "Legal Education and Anti-Corruption" as its theme, and the "Sino-Russian Anti-Corruption Roundtable", which took "Anti-Corruption Legislation: Development and Prospects" as its theme, at the State Audit Office of the Russian Federation in Moscow on April 17-18, 2024.

 

 

At the "13th Eurasian International Anti-Corruption Forum", held on April 17 and attended by nearly 200 experts and scholars from more than 30 countries, Professor Mo Jihong delivered a keynote speech entitled "Attention Should Be Paid to Institutional Prevention of Human Weaknesses in the Fight against Corruption" and Dr. Jiao Xupeng, an associate research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, gave a presentation on "China's Path to Improving Private Entrepreneurs' Anti-Corruption Legal Awareness" at the fourth sub-forum.

 

 
 

 

At the "Sino-Russian Anti-Corruption Roundtable", held on April 18 and co-chaired by Professor Liu Hongyan, a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, and Dr. Sevalnev, a professor at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of Russian Federation, Associate Professor Li Guangde and Assistant Professor Lin Xiaoxiao from CASS Institute of Law and Assistant Professors Ren Hongda, Tan Guanfu, and Lin Qiang from CASS Institute of International Law each gave a presentation on major theoretical and practical issues of anti-corruption legislation.
