The rapid advancement of AI and other modern technologies will inevitably lead to continuous fundamental transformations in our society. What impacts will technology have on law? How should we achieve coordinated development of technology and law? These questions have made “technology and law” an increasingly important research topic both at present and in the future. Since its establishment in July 2020, the Research Center of Technology and Law of CASS Law Institute has devoted itself to organizing, coordinating and promoting in-depth interdisciplinary researches on the relationship between technology and law. To pool the wisdoms of top experts and scholars in this field, the Center plans to publish a book series entitled Technology and Law in cooperation with Social Sciences Academic Press. The first volume of the series, AI and Legal Transformation, will be published in 2021. We welcome our colleagues around the world to submit contributions to this volume.
