Professor Zhou Hanhua gives the first lecture at the Lecture Hall of Famous Experts on the Internet Rule of Law

On August 24th, Professor Zhou Hanhua, deputy director of the CASS Law Institute and director of the Center for Culture Law Studies, was invited to give the first lecture at the Lecture Hall of Famous Experts on the Internet Rule of Law, hosted by the Hangzhou Internet Court and the Internet Nomocracy Institute (Hangzhou). The lecture was presided over by Mr. Hong Xuejun, Party Secretary and President of Hangzhou Internet Court, and attended by the staff members from the two levels of courts in Hangzhou through video linkage.

The topic of this lecture is "Interpretation of the Personal Information Protection Law". In the lecture, Professor Zhou Hanhua focused on the recently adopted Personal Information Protection Law, and systematically explained the law from seven aspects, namely the background and process of the formulation of the law, the main controversial issues in the drafting process of the law, the relationship between the law and the Civil Code, the trial of personal information protection cases, the principle of presumption of fault established by the law and its judicial application, the right to claim personality right and the law, and the application of the law, providing a new vision and new ideas for the correct understanding and accurate application of the Personal Information Protection Law.
