The 2021 Innovation Forum "Objects Regulated by Private International Law and Related Issues" held in Beijing

The sixth lecture of the 2021 Innovation Forum of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law was held in the conference room of the office building of the two institutes on the morning of September 28, 2021. The lecture, entitled "Objects Regulated by Private International Law and Related Issues", was given by Professor Shen Juan, a research fellow at the Private International Law Department of the Institute of International Law. In the lecture, Professor Shen discussed such issues as the objects and methods of regulation by private international law, the rights and obligations subjected to the regulation, the predictability of the results of the regulation, disputes over names, and laws regulating domestic rule of law and foreign-related civil and commercial relations. The lecture was organized by the Private International Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law and the innovation project team on "Adhering to the Coordinated Promotion of Private Law in Domestic Rule of Law and Foreign-related Rule of Law". It was presided over by Associate Professor Li Qingming. Associate Professor Zhang Meirong and Lecturer Wang Yi from the Law School of University of CASS and Assistant Professor Fu Panfeng from CASS Institute of International Law served as the commentators at the lecture. The lecture was attended by researchers and post-doctoral researchers from the two institutes, and doctoral candidates and masters students from the Law School of the University of CASS.
