A delegation of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law headed by Director Mo Jihong visits Macao
to carry out investigations on the rule of law construction in the Greater Bay Area


A delegation headed by Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law and dean of the Law School of the University of CASS, visited Macao Special Administrative Region on July 29-31, 2023 to carry out investigations on the rule of law construction in the Greater Bay Area. Other members of the delegation included Professor Liu Xiaomei, Head of Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law, Professor Li Xia, Head of Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, Associate Professor Sun Nanxiang, Deputy Head of Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law, Dr. Li Guangde, an associate research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, Dr. Zhu Xuelei, an assistant research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, and Dr. Ma Jinxing, an assistant research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law. 

On July 29-30, the delegation held discussions and exchanges with Macao Youth Association of Patriotic Education, Macao Doctoral Think Tank, Macao Live Broadcasting Association and Macao Expertise Development Society. 

 

 

On the afternoon of July 30th, the delegation carried out on-site investigations at the patriotism education bases of Patriotism Hall and Constitution Coffee Corner, and exchanged views with the staff of the bases on the innovative forms of patriotism education and the popularization of constitutional knowledge for Macao youth. 

 

 

The visit has deepened the mutual understanding and friendship between CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law and Macao people from all walks of life, such as legal professionals, educationists and youth, and is conducive to promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland and Macao SAR on the construction of the rule of law.
