The Seminar on Benefit Sharing of Breeding Materials, co-sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration, was held at CASS Institute of Law on the afternoon of September 28, 2023. The seminar was attended by more than ten experts from CASS Institute of Law, Administration and Management Institute of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (the C.P.C Party School of MARA), the Intellectual Property pision of the High People's Court of Sichuan Province, and Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration.

At the opening ceremony of the seminar, presided over by Mr. Zhang Jingui, Head of the Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of Law, opening speeches were given by Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Institute of Law, Mr. Chen Hao, Head of the Intellectual Property Department of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration, and Professor Guan Yuying, Director of CASS Center for Intellectual Property Studies. 

At the seminar, presided over by Mr. Chen Hao, the participants discussed the significance, actual needs, legal basis, policy orientation, technical support and other related issues of benefit sharing of breeding materials. 

At the closing ceremony of the seminar, presided over by Mr. Zhang Jingui, concluding remarks were made by Professor Li Mingde, a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law.
