The Conference for the Release of Major Achievements of CASS and the Seminar on the Review of Ten-year Academic Research on "the Belt and Road Initiative" was held in Beijing on November 8, 2023. Mr. Wang Changlin, vice president and member of the Party Group of CASS, delivered an opening speech at the conference.

At the conference, presided over by Hu Bing, director of the Bureau of Research Coordination of CASS, keynote speeches were given by representatives of research institutions and publishing houses of the CASS, such as the Institute of Chinese History, the Institute of Law, the Institute of International Law, the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asia Studies, the National Institute of International Strategy, China Social Sciences Press, and Social Sciences Academic Press, in which they reviewed the researches they had carried out on the “Belt and Road Initiative” in the past ten years since the launch of the initiative and looked forward to the future development of the researches.

Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law, made a speech entitled "Current Situation and Future Development of Researches on Legal Issues relating to the Belt and Road Initiative", in which he introduced the work carried out and main achievements made by CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law in the researches on legal issues relating to "the Belt and Road Initiative" in the past ten years. 

The conference focused on the release of two major achievements: "The Belt and Road Initiative: Past, Present and Future" and "The Manual on the Belt and Road Initiative 2023 (English)". "The Library of the Law-based Belt and Road Initiative" (volumes 1-6), edited by Professor Mo Jihong, was also displayed at the conference.
