Recently, the sixth "Innovation Forum of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law in 2023” was held in Beijing. At the forum, Professor Xu Hui, head of the Procedure Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, gave an academic lecture entitled "Key Points and Explanations of the Amendment to the Civil Procedure Law in 2023". In the lecture, Professor Xu Hui introduced the background and main contents of the amendment to the Civil Procedure Law in 2023, explained the main points of the amendment, and discussed the main problems that may be faced by China in the implementation of the amended law. Professor Dong Kun, associate professors Qi Jianjian and Ma Ke, Editor Li Man, and Assistant Professor Liu Chenqi, who served as interlocutors at the lecture, commented on and carried out discussions on various issues around the theme of the lecture. The lecture was attended by nearly 50 persons, including researchers from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law and some graduate students from the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
