The joint 2023 Annual Conference and Academic Seminar of the Constitutional Law Research Committee and the Legislative Law Research Committee of Beijing Law Society was held in CASS Institute of Law on December 2, 2023. The theme of the annual conference and academic seminar of the Constitutional Law Research Committee was "Strengthening the Innovative Practice of Constitutional Implementation and Supervision and Serving the Construction of the Rule of Law in the Capital", and the theme of the annual conference and academic seminar of the Legislative Law Research Committee was "Major Theoretical and Practical Issues of the New Legislation Law". The event was attended by nearly 50 experts, scholars and graduate students from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (the National Academy of Governance), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Minzu University of China, People's Public Security University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, Capital University of Economics and Business, and Beijing Union University. At the academic seminar, which was divided into three units, participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on various issues around the two themes of the seminar.
