The third session of the Shatan Youth Forum in 2024: "The Rule of Law and Chinese Modernization", sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, was held in Beijing on March 26th, 2024. At this session, Dr. Tang Linyao, an associate research fellow at the Commercial Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, gave a lecture entitled "Legal Linkages in Technical Regulation".  In the lecture, Dr. Tang mainly discussed the recent trend of special legislation in the field of artificial intelligence and the possibility of linkages between such special legislation and company law.

The lecture was presided over by Professor Zhao Lei, deputy head of the Commercial Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, and attended by more than 30 young researchers from the two institutes. After the lecture, the participants carried out discussions on such issues as how to coordinate various branch laws and technical special legislation, the embodiment of scientific and technological ethics in corporate ESG, the company law referral of prohibitive rules, and the boundaries and limits of company law intervention in technical regulation.
