The Seminar on "Generative Artificial Intelligence and Copyright Compliance – Overseas Comparison and Chinese Practice" was successfully held at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in Guangzhou on the afternoon of April 1, 2024.
The seminar was jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and the Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics and jointly organized by the Incubation Project Team on "Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Research" Laboratory of CASS, the Artificial Intelligence Law Research Center of the Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and the Institute of the Rule of Law and Economic Development of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Lu Xiaoming, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Dean of the Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and Mr. Wang Hongyu, Director of the Research Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, each gave an opening speech.
The seminar was divided into three sessions, in which the participants gave keynote speeches and carried out discussions on issues related to generative artificial intelligence and copyright from the perspectives of academic theory, industry and judicial practice.
