The academic seminar on Comprehensively Strengthening the Party's Discipline Construction held in Beijing


 

 

The academic seminar on "Comprehensively Strengthening the Party's Discipline Construction - Studying and Implementing the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China" was held in Beijing on June 28, 2024. The seminar was sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, organized by the Department on the Rule-of-Law Strategy of CASS Institute of International Law and CASS Institute of Law and the Joint Personnel Department (Party Office) of the two CASS institutes, and attended by nearly 40 experts and scholars from the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (National Academy of Governance), China Law Society, China Academy of Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, National Judges College, Party School of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Capital Normal University and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

 

 

In the seminar, which consisted of two sessions, the participants conducted in-depth discussions on issues related to the study and implementation of the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China. The seminar enabled the participants to enhance their understanding of the importance of comprehensively strengthening the Party's discipline construction, the achievements made and experience gained by the Party in discipline construction in the new era, as well as the goals and tasks of the Party's discipline construction in the future, and to reach consensus on many theoretical issues, thus achieving its expected goals.
