The third session of the High-end Lecture Series on the Foreign-related Rule of Law of CASS Institute of International Law was held in Beijing on June 26, 2024. At this session, Professor Huang Huikang, a member of the United Nations International Law Commission, an arbitrator of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the chairman of the International Law Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and a senior international law professor, delivered a lecture titled "The Current International Situation and the External Environment for China’s Development". The lecture was presided over by Professor Ding Sai, a deputy director of CASS Institute of Law. Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law, gave an opening speech before the lecture. Professor Li Zhong, a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, and Professor Dai Ruijun, a research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, served as interlocutors at the lecture.

The lecture was jointly organized by the National Foreign-related Rule of Law Research Base of CASS Institute of International Law, the Preponderant Discipline of Foreign-related Rule of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Center for the Foreign-related Rule of Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law and attended by more than 40 experts, young scholars from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law as well as graduate students from the Law School of the University Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
