The Seminar on AI Security Risks and Their Legal Regulations held in Beijing


 

The Seminar on AI Security Risks and Their Legal Regulations was held in Beijing on September 1, 2024. This seminar was sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and jointly organized by the Cyber and Information Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, the "Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Research" Laboratory Incubation Project Team and the "Cyber Power Construction and Cyber Rule of Law Innovation" Project Team with the assistance of the Working Committee on the Cyber Rule of Law of the Internet Society of China, the Center for Science & Technology Development and Governance of Tsinghua University, the Data Rule of Law Laboratory of Shanghai Jiaotong University, the Cyberspace International Governance Research Base of Beijing Institute of Technology, the Shanghai AI Social Governance Collaborative Innovation Center of Tongji University, the Digital Law Laboratory of the Law School of Renmin University of China and the Internet Law Research Center of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

 

 

At the seminar, the discussions were focused on the latest progress of artificial intelligence in the fields of finance, employment, security, governance and legal risk prevention and five reports with important guiding significance were officially released.

 

 

The successful holding of the seminar and the release of the five reports not only provided a solid legal and policy guarantee for the development and application of artificial intelligence technology but also pointed out the direction for the safety, compliance and innovative development of artificial intelligence technology in the future.
