The seminar on the Expert Proposed Draft of the Integrity Promotion Law was held in Beijing on September 27, 2024. The seminar was jointly organized by Institute of Integrity of Southern University of Science and Technology and Center for the Rule of Law Publicity and Education and Public Law Research of the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and attended by experts and scholars from research institutes such as China Anti-corruption Research Center, China University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, South University of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

At the seminar, presided over by Professor Li Zhong, a research fellow at the Institute of Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Liu Xiaomei, a research fellow at the Institute of International Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, first introduced the background, purpose and significance of drafting the Integrity Promotion Law (expert proposed draft). Then, Professor Zhu Xuelei, an associate research fellow at the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gave a detailed introduction to the legislative necessity and feasibility, legislative ideas and main contents, legislative highlights and key points of the draft law. After the introductions, participants of the seminar gave presentations and carried out discussions on a wide range of issues around the theme of the seminar.
