The 2024 Annual Conference of the Law Library and Legal Information Society of Beijing Law Society: the Seminar on "Artificial Intelligence and Legal Research" was held at CASS Institute of Law in Beijing on November 13, 2024.

The conference was jointly sponsored by Law Library and Legal Information Society of Beijing Law Society and CASS Institute of Law, jointly organized by CASS Law Library and China Book Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd., and attended by over 40 experts and scholars from Beijing Law Society, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, National Library of China, China National Intellectual Property Administration, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Renmin University of China, Southeast University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, PKULAW.com, Beijing Yodex Legal Intelligence Information Service Co., Ltd., and Bilingual Communication Project for Chinese STM Journals.

At the seminar, participants gave keynote speeches and carried out discussions on such issues as "Classical Civilization and the Modern World, "The Thinking Dimensions of Digital Procuratorial Work", "Artificial Intelligence and Scarcity of Legal Research", "The Picture of the Times of Legal Large Language Models", "Legal Artificial Intelligence and Computational Law Practice of PKULAW.com", "Application and Exploration of Large Model Technology in the Legal Field", and "Intelligence Service Practice under the Framework of Large Model Agency and Scheduling".
