The 2024 Shangdi Seminar on Intellectual Property was held at the China Intellectual Property Training Center in Beijing on December 7-8, 2024. The seminar was jointly sponsored by the Center for Intellectual Property Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the China Intellectual Property Training Center and attended by experts, scholars and practitioners from universities and research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, East China University of Political Science and Law and the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the opening ceremony of the seminar, presided over by Professor Guan Yuying, a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, opening remarks were made by Professor Mo Jihong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and director of CASS Institute of Law, and Professor Liu Jian, director of the China Intellectual Property Training Center.

The seminar was divided into six units in which participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on a wide range of issues around the theme "Intellectual Property Issues in the Revision of Anti-Unfair Competition Law".

At the closing ceremony, presided over by Professor Li Judan, a research fellow at CASS the Institute of Law, concluding remarks were made by Professor Guan Yuying.
