The first New Book Salon of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law in 2025, organized by CASS Law Library, was held on April 1, 2025.

 

 

At the salon, presided over by Professor Zhi Zhenfeng, head librarian of CASS Law Library, Dr. Tan Guanfu, an editor and assistant research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, introduced his newly published book Regulation of Digital Trade Through International Economic and Trade Rules, including its the basic ideas and main viewpoints. After the introduction, Professor Mo Jihong, member of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and director of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Liu Huawen, deputy director of CASS Institute of International Law, Professor Liu Jingdong, head of the International Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, each made a comment on the new book. Professor Jiang Xiaohong, Professor Liu Xiaomei, and Associate Professor Ma Ke from CASS Institute of International Law exchanged views with Dr. Tan on various issues involved in the book. The salon was attended by nearly 50 people, including researchers and graduate students from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law.
