CASS Institute of Law launches the blue books on the development of the rule of Law in China in 2024


 
The launching of blue books on the development of the rule of Law in China in 2024, jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and Social Sciences Academic Press, was held in Beijing on April 27, 2025. The event was attended by leaders and officials of 26 local governments, 18 local courts, 7 provincial- and municipal-level procuratorates, 3 local public security departments and public security bureaus, experts and scholars from universities and research institutions such as CASS Institute of Law, CASS Institute of International Law, University of International Relations, Law School of Tsinghua University, Law School of Minzu University of China, Institute of Foreign-related Rule of Law of University of International Business and Economics, as well as representatives of some law firms, Internet enterprises and news media. At the event, a series of reports on the development of the rule of law in China were launched, including the Rule of Law in China: Development in 2024 and Prospect in 2025, the Report on Government Transparency in China in 2024, the Report on Judicial Transparency in China in 2024, the Report on Procuratorial Transparency in China in 2024, the Report on Public Security Rule of Law in China in 2024, reports on the development of local rule of law in various provinces and cities in China in 20204, and reports on the development of the rule of law in such fields as financial stability, foreign-related rule of law, business environment, prevention and resolution of medical disputes, and recognition and enforcement of overseas civil and commercial court decisions in China in 2024.
