The fourth session of the series of activities "Artificial Intelligence and the Rule of Law" of the Institute of Law: the seminar on "Artificial Intelligence and Legal Research" held


The fourth session of the series of activities "Artificial Intelligence and the Rule of Law" of the Institute of Law and the "New Quality Service Month" series of activities of CASS Law Library: the high-end seminar on "Artificial Intelligence and Legal Research" was successfully held on April 22, 2025. The seminar was jointly-sponsored by CASS Law Library and the CASS Center for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Law Studies and attended by about 40 experts and scholars from research and teaching institutions such as CASS Institute of Law, CASS Institute of International Law, CASS Institute of Sociology, the Computational Social Science Research Center of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as well as enterprises such as CNKI, PKULAW.com, and LexisNexis.
 
 
At the seminar, which was divided into two units, participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on such topics as "The Impact of Large Models on Research in the Field of Philosophy and Social Sciences", “Paradigm Innovation: Legal Research Assistance by Huazhi Large Model + DeepSeek Fusion Application", "Academic Research Assistance by DeepSeek Localization Deployment", "The Impact and Response of Generative AI Illusion on Social Science Research", "How to Better Use Lexis for Academic Research in the Era of Explosive Growth of AI Applications" and "Commonalities of Thinking between Artificial Intelligence Applications and Legal Education Research ".
