The 10th Commercial Law Forum-“The Seminar on Legislative Concept and Institutional Realization of Promoting the Development of the Private Sector" was successfully held in Beijing on April 26, 2025. The seminar was sponsored by the Institute of Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and attended by more than 40 experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, University of International Business and Economics, National Prosecutor's College, Nanjing University, Jilin University, Sun Yat-sen University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, South China University of Technology, Lanzhou University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Zhengzhou University.

 

 

At the seminar, participants spoke highly of the (Draft) Private Sector Promotion Law. They held that this Law is a basic and comprehensive law in the field of private sector and that its formulation will help optimize the development environment of the private sector, ensure the fair participation of all kinds of economic organizations in market competition, promote the healthy development of the private sector and the healthy growth of participants in the private sector, and give full play to the role of the rule of law in consolidating the foundation, stabilizing expectations and benefiting the long-term development. They carried out in-depth discussions on the main content, institutional innovation, and significance of the (Draft) Private Sector Promotion Law.
