Professor Knut Benjamin Pißler of the Max Planck Institute of Comparative Private Law and Private International Law in Germany visited CASS Institute of Law on May 20, 2025. During his visit, Professor Pißler met with Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law. In the meeting, Professor Mo extended his warm welcome to Professor Pißler and discussed with him ways of strengthening the cooperation between the two institutes and the legal exchanges between the two countries. After the meeting, Professor Pißler gave a lecture titled "Actions to Set Aside the Resolution of Corporate Bodies: Basic Elements Compared in China and Germany". The lecture was presided over by Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of CASS Institute of Law, and attended by more than 30 young researchers and graduate students from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law. After the lecture, Dr. Yu Jianan, an associate senior editor of Global Law Review, Dr. Cai Rui, an assistant research fellow at the Civil Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, and Dr. Wang Qi, an assistant research fellow at the Commercial Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, each made a brief comment on the lecture.
