The 17th Social Science Roundtable on Arbitration -From the Perspective of Guangzhou's Legislation on Promoting the Construction of International Commercial Arbitration Center was held at CASS Institute of International Law in Beijing on May 30, 2025.

 

 

The roundtable was sponsored by CASS Institute of International Law with the assistance of Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and attended by experts and scholars from the Constitution and Law Committee of the National People's Congress, the Public Legal Service Administration of the Ministry of Justice, the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress, Renmin University of China, University of International Business and Economics, Sun Yat-sen University, Legal Daily, Zhuhai International Arbitration Court, and Shenzhen International Arbitration Court.

 

 

At the roundtable, which was divided into two sessions, participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on a wide range of issues around the topics of "The Impact of Central and Local Arbitration Legislation on the Construction of International Commercial Arbitration Center" and "The Role of Central and Local Arbitration Legislation in Cultivating World-class Arbitration Institutions"
