The Lecture Forum on the Rule of Law in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area was held in Qianhai, Shenzhen on July 4, 2025 . The forum was jointly oganized by the Qianhai Base of CASS Think Tank on the Comprehensive Rule of Law, the National Research Base of Foreign-related Rule of Law of CASS Institute of International Law, CASS Center for Cultural Law Studies, and Center for the Rule of Law Publicity and Education and Public Law Studies of CASS Institute of Law.

 

 

At the forum, Professor Mo Jihong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of CASS Institute of Law, vice chairman of the CASS Think Tank on the Comprehensive Rule of Law, and director of the Qianhai Base of CASS Think Tank on the Comprehensive Rule of Law, gave a lecture titled  "Foreign-related rule of law is a strong rule of law" and Justice Liu Zheng, deputy Party secretary and vice president of the First Circuit Tribunal  and president of the First International Commercial Court of the Supreme People's Court, gave a lecture on  "Practical problems with and suggestions on improving the the compatibility of rules and mechanisms in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area". 

The forum was attended by more than 70 theoretical and practical workers from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shenzhen University,  Southern University of Science and Technology,  the First Circuit Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court,  the People's Court of Qianhai Cooperation Zone, the People's Procuratorate of Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone, and the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone.
