The Seminar on Innovation and Implementation of Competition Policies during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period, organized by CASS Institute of Law, was held in Beijing on November 28, 2025. The seminar was attended by persons in charge of the relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and provincial market supervision departments in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, and Liaoning, scholars from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nankai University, and University of International Business and Economics, as well as experts from research institutions, law firms and enterprises.

 

At the seminar, which was divided into four units, participants focused on the major theoretical and practical issues of innovation and implementation of competition policies during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, including "principles and tasks of regulation of competition during the 15th Five-Year Plan period", "construction of modern industrial system and enforcement of anti-monopoly law", "local anti-monopoly regulation and unified market construction", and "competition concern and regulation in the development of scientific and technological innovation”.
