
The 6th Young Scholars Workshop, organized by the Editorial Board of Chinese Review of International Law, was held in Beijing on November 28, 2025. The workshop aims to promote academic discussion and help young scholars polish and improve their academic works.
The sixth workshop was presided over by Professor Qu Xiangfei, director of the Editorial Board of Chinese Review of International Law, and attended by Mr. Liu Daqun, a judge of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (MICT), Professor Zhu Lijiang, deputy dean of the School of International Law of China University of Political Science and Law, Associate Professor Leng Xinyu of the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law, Professor Sun Shiyan, deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Review of International Law, Professor Hao Luyi, an editor of Chinese Review of International Law and deputy head of the Department of Public International Law of CASS Institute of International Law, Associate Professor Sun Nanxiang, deputy head of the Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law, Dr. Tan Guanfu, an associate senior editor of Chinese Review of International Law, and some student assistants.
At the workshop, participants, in light of the contributions to the Chinese Review of International Law from young scholars, carried out in-depth discussions on issues relating to indirect joint crime in international criminal law from the perspectives of principles and methods of treaty interpretation, the purposes and objectives of international criminal law, the focuses of consideration of judgments of international criminal courts, the differences and connections between international criminal law and national criminal law, and the skills and standardization of writing of academic papers.
