The first CASS forum of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law was held at the conference hall of the two institutes in Beijing on February 3, 2026.

At the forum, Dr. Hu Changming, an associate research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, gave a presentation of his paper titled Empirical Analysis of Judicial Judgments on Custody Disputes. The forum was presided over by Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of CASS Institute of Law, and attended by more than 20 editors and young scholars from the two institutes.

In the presentation, Dr. Hu Changming introduced his paper from four aspects: literature review, research method, empirical findings, and explanatory analysis. After the presentation, the participants commented on the papers and put forward suggestions on revision.
