A delegation from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law carried out academic exchanges in the HKSAR on March 4-6, 2026. The delegation was headed by Professor Li Honglei, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong and Macao Basic Laws Research Committee of China Law Society. Other members of the delegation included Professor He Hairen, Head of the Jurisprudence Department of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Qu Xiangfei, Head of the Editorial Board of Chinese Review of International Law, Associate Professor Sun Nanxiang and Associate Professor He Jingjing from the Department of International Economic Law of CASS Institute of International Law, and Associate Professor Hu Changming and Assistant Professor Xu Bin from CASS Institute of Law.
During the tour in Hong Kong, the delegation visited the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong, the Office of the Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit of the Hong Kong SAR, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, the International Organization for Mediation, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Law School of the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese Institute of Hong Kong, and held in-depth exchanges with government officials, experts, university scholars, and representatives of alumni of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law in Hong Kong.
