The Launching of the 2026 Blue Book on the Rule of Law in China, jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and Social Science Academic Press, was held in Beijing on April 28, 2026.

The Blook Book, namely Development Report on the Rule of Law in China No. 24 (2026), which comprehensively reviewed the achievements made by China in the development of the rule of law in 2025 and looked forward to the trend of development of the rule of law construction in China in 2026, was released together with a series of reports on major achievements made by China in the development of the rule of law in specific fields, such as report on cases of innovation of the rule of law in China in 2025 and assessment report on legal transparency in China in 2025.

The event was attended by persons in charge of local people's congresses, judicial administrative organs, courts and procuratorates, and government departments at various levels, experts and scholars from universities and research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (National Academy of Governance), Renmin University of China, and Minzu University of China, as well as legal practitioners and representatives of news media.
