The 4th Session of the Forum on the Foreign-related Rule of Law of the CASS Institute of International Law: the Seminar on High-Quality Joint Construction of the Belt and Road and the Construction of the Foreign-Related Rule of Law was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on June 23, 2026.

The forum was jointly sponsored by the CASS Institute of International Law, Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, and the Xinjiang Base of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, jointly organized by the National Research Base of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of the CASS Institute of International Law, the "Belt and Road" Judicial Research Base of the Supreme People's Court, the Procuratorial Research Base of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Advantageous Disciplines of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of CASS, the Research Center of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of CASS Institute of International Law, the Xinjiang Work Research Institute of the Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, the CASS Institute of Law, and the Law School of Shihezi University. It was attended by experts, scholars, and practitioners from the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Justice, relevant political and legal departments of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as well as dozens of universities and research institutions across the country.
