Professor Benjamin L. Liebman, Vice Dean of Columbia Law School and Director of Hong Yen Chang Center for Chinese Legal Studies, visited the CASS Institute of Law and the CASS Institute of International Law in Beijing on June 30, 2026.

During the visit, Professor Liebman gave a lecture titled "A Comparative Perspective on Judicial Transparency". The lecture was attended by about 40 experts, scholars, and students from the CASS Institute of Law, the CASS Institute of International Law, and other institutions, who carried out discussions and exchanged views with Professor Liebman on relevant issues after the lecture.
