The Seminar on International Rules for Supply Chain Responsibility, ESG Challenges, and Solutions was held online on August 2, 2026.

The seminar was sponsored by the CASS Center for Human Rights Studies, organized by the International Human Rights Law Department of the CASS Institute of International Law, and attended by about 20 experts and scholars from the CASS Institute of Law, the CASS Institute of International Law, the UN Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development, Tianjin University, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Nankai University, Beijing Normal University, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Shenzhen University, Northwest University, and Shanghai Jiaotong University.

At the seminar, which was divided into three sessions - "Building the Foundation of Rules: International Standards and Domestic Legislation on Supply Chain Responsibility", "Going Overseas: ESG Challenges and Responses in the Global Operation of Enterprises" and "Returning to Rights: Effective Relief Paths for Industry, Commerce and Human Rights" - participants held in-depth discussions on issues related to legislative trends, enterprise practices and rights-relief paths in the fields of industry, commerce and human rights.
