The 2026 Youth Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Law, jointly sponsored by the CASS Institute of Law and the Cyber and Information Law Society of the China Law Society, was held in Beijing from August 17 to 21, 2026. The workshop was organized by the Cyber and Information Law Department of the CASS Institute of Law, with assistance from the Editorial Board of the Journal of Cyber and Information Law, and attended by 36 outstanding young scholars from universities across the country.

The five-day workshop was designed by taking into account both theoretical frontiers and practical needs. In terms of teaching arrangements, it included lectures, case studies, and other activities focused on cutting-edge issues in artificial intelligence law. Participants were organized to conduct practical research and exchanges in science and technology enterprises, so as to guide them in deepening their understanding of artificial intelligence legal issues in real industrial scenarios and to promote the interconnection of legal theory, institutional research, and industrial practice.
