The Seminar on "Comprehensive Law-based Governance and Legal Protection of Women's Rights and Interests" was held in Beijing on September 1, 2026.

The seminar, as one of the thematic seminars held under the 2026 Annual Conference of the Chinese Women’s Research Society, was sponsored by the Center for Gender and Law Studies of the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and attended by experts, scholars and practitioners from universities, research institutions, courts, procuratorates, women's federations and other organizations.

In the two-part seminar, participants discussed a wide range of issues related to "the comprehensive implementation of the Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests" and "the application and prospects of the Anti-Domestic Violence Law".
