The Second Forum on Frontier Issues of Criminal Law Practice held in Beijing


The Second Forum on Frontier Issues of Criminal Law Practice was held at the CASS Institute of Law in Beijing on September 12, 2026.

This forum was sponsored by the CASS Institute of Law, jointly organized by the Criminal Law Department and the Center for Science and Technology and Law Research Studies of the Institute, and the Criminal Law Judgment and Interpretation Research Center of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and attended by more than 90 experts, scholars, and young students from practical departments such as the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and grassroots judicial organs, as well as the legal community, business community, universities, and research institutions.

At the forum, which consisted of three thematic sessions, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on various issues around the topics of "Substantive Issues in the Judicial Application of Money Laundering Crimes," "Procedural Issues in the Judicial Application of Money Laundering Crimes," and "Money Laundering Crimes in New Business Scenarios."
