The seminar on "Commercial Elements in the Formulation of Financial Laws" was held in Beijing on October 10, 2026.

The seminar was sponsored by the CASS Institute of of Law and attended by more than 40 experts and scholars from institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Central University of Finance and Economics, Wuhan University, Jilin University, Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, East China Normal University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Central South University of Finance and Law, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Zhengzhou University, and Capital University of Economics.

At the seminar, which focused on the (Draft) Financial Law, participants conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as the legal framework for the evolution from commercial law to financial law, the commercial subject elements in financial law, the commercial behavior elements in financial law, the institutional connection and system coordination between financial law and commercial legislation.
