A delegation of the CASS Institute of Law, led by Professor Zhai Guoqiang, secretary of the Joint Party Committee of the CASS Institute of Law and the CASS Institute of International Law, visited United Kingdom for academic exchange on September 26-30, 2026. During the visit, the delegation engaged in in-depth academic exchanges on topics including regulation of AI, regulatory frameworks, and international cooperation with British experts and scholars in academic institutions such as the Faculty of Law of the University of Glasgow, the Pandit Chandra Law School of King's College London, and Magdalen College of the University of Oxford.

This visit strengthened the academic ties between the CASS Institute of Law and relevant universities in the UK as well as research institutions specializing in the regulation of artificial intelligence. During the visit, the delegation also introduced China's artificial intelligence legislation, regulatory practices, and governance concepts to the British academic community, facilitating further exchanges and cooperation between China and the UK in the field of artificial intelligence law.
