The International Symposium on AI Innovation and Governance was held in Beijing on October 20, 2026.

The symposum, as one of the satellite symposiums of 2026 ISC Midterm Members’ Meeting and Beijing Science Dialogue, was jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of Quantitative ＆ Technological Economics and CASS Institute of Law and attended by experts and scholars from multiple countries including China, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia, and South Korea.

At the symposium, which focused on the trends of artificial intelligence innovation and development, the impact and challenges of artificial intelligence on economic and social development as well as the international landscape, and the issue of artificial intelligence governance, participants conducted in-depth exchange and discussions, contributing international wisdom and diverse solutions to the safe, fair, inclusive, and sustainable development of artificial intelligence.
