Dong Kun


 

Dong Kun, male, from Yanzhou, Shandong, PhD, postdoctoral in procedural law, researcher at the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciencesas well asa visiting scholar at Kaohsiung University in Taiwan, China. Member of the 13th All-China Youth Federation, member of the Standing Committee of the First Youth Federation of Central and State Organs. He has presided over a number of general projects of the National Social Science Fund, the Youth Project of the National Social Science Fund, the Ministry of Justice and the Chinese Law Society. Additionally, he has won the second prize of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements in criminal procedure law for young and middle-aged people, and the nomination award of Dong Biwu's young achievements in law. In 2017, he was awarded the title of "The Eighth National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists" by the Chinese Law Society.

Dong’s main research areas are criminal procedure law, evidence law, procuratorial theory, and investigation system.In "Law Research", "Chinese Law", "Jurist", "Law Business Research", "Politics and Law Forum", "Modern Law", "Law", "Law Science", "Contemporary Law", "Journal of East China University of Political Science and Law", "Law Journal", "Law Forum" "Journal of the National Prosecutors College" and other authoritative or core journals, he has independently published more than 50 papers, of which 8 are excerpts of opinions from "Xinhua Digest" and the full text of "Photocopying Materials of People's Congress".Moreover, he published two monographs, namely "Research on the Problem of Procuratorial Organs' Elimination of Illegal Evidence" and "Research on Criminal Injustices from the Perspective of Investigation Behavior", and participated in the compilation of 6 law books and textbooks.
