Lu Chao, China's Administrative Litigation Reform from a Functional Perspective, Beijing: China Social Sciences Press, May 2023.

In the process of modernization of the administrative law system in China, it is of great practical significance and theoretical value to construct and improve the socialist administrative litigation system with Chinese characteristics. This book, by combining various research methods such as legal hermeneutics and sociology of law, integrates the interpretation of the reform of China's administrative litigation system into the analysis of the structural changes of China's political-social background, especially from the external perspective of social science of law. It focuses on the specific institutional devices such as incidental review of normative documents in administrative litigation, judicial recommendations and administrative public interest litigation in China, and explores the institutional functions of administrative litigation and its reform and evolution process in the practice of constructing the law-based China.
