Wang Tianyu, (ed.): Typical Case Study on the Protection of Labor Rights and Interests of Employees in New Employment Forms, Beijing: People's Court Press, 2023

This book is the result of the Supreme People's Court's 2021 judicial case study project "Study on Typical Cases of Safeguarding the Legal Rights and Interests of Employees in New Business Forms", which was aimed at exploring the adjudication of cases related to new employment forms, summarizing the factual points and legal focuses of disputes relating to new employment forms, refining courts’ analytical logic in the trial of typical platform employment cases, building consensus on judicial practice, and providing a solid reference for the formulation of related administrative policies, judicial interpretations, and legislative plans. The project team selected typical cases in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Suzhou as samples, contacted local scholars, judges and lawyers and organized them into four research groups to review and screen the typical cases tried and concluded in these four places, and finally selected ten typical cases in each city, accompanied by commentaries made by experts. The resulting book consists of 40 typical cases and 40 in-depth analyses of these cases. 

This book can be used as a reference for judges in the trial of disputes relating to new employment forms, as a handbook for lawyers, arbitrators and other practical workers in the handling of related cases, as well as a reference book for teachers, graduate students and undergraduate students in colleges and universities, and research institutions in teaching, studying and carrying out research on related topics.
