This textbook consists of six chapters. The first chapter gives a general introduction to the basic theory of intellectual property law. The third chapter, patent law, mainly covers the patent legal system, objects of patent right, subjects of patent right, the substantive conditions of patent application, examination and authorization, the content, utilization, elimination and protection period of patent right, the restriction on patent right, patent infringement, counterfeiting patent and legal responsibility. The fourth chapter, trademark law, consists of an overview of trademark legal system, acquisition of trademark rights, content, utilization and elimination of trademark rights, trademark infringement and related legal responsibility, and non-infringement of trademark rights. The fifth chapter, anti-unfair competition law, covers basic theory of anti-unfair competition, counterfeiting, false advertising, commercial defamation, infringement on trade secrets, and unfair competition on the Internet. The sixth chapter, new plant varieties protection system, consists of an overview of variety right, objects of variety right, application and acquisition of variety right, review of new plant varieties, variety right and exception to variety right, transfer and license of variety right, and infringement on variety right and its relief.
